Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains how Reeve, a product of Futurist IP(“we”, “us”), handles data when you use the Reeve app for Jira (“the App”) or this website.
The short version
Reeve is a Forge-native Atlassian app. Your billing data is stored inside Atlassian’s infrastructure and does not leave it — except when you explicitly push an invoice to your connected accounting system (Xero or QuickBooks). We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
What the App processes
- Jira worklog and issue data — the hours, issues, and projects needed to build invoices. Reeve reads this; it never modifies your worklogs.
- User display names — to attribute time on invoices.
- Billing configuration you enter — clients, rate cards, tax settings, and invoice records.
- Accounting connection tokens — when you connect Xero or QuickBooks, the OAuth tokens are stored and encrypted by the Atlassian Forge platform, not held separately by us.
Where it’s stored
All App data lives in Atlassian Forge storage, within Atlassian’s cloud. Reeve runs no external database and keeps no copy of your billing data on its own servers.
When data leaves Atlassian
Only when you act. When you push an invoice, Reeve sends that invoice’s data to the accounting provider you connected (Xero or Intuit / QuickBooks) to create it there. That is the only egress, and it happens on your instruction.
Subprocessors
- Atlassian — hosting and storage (the Forge platform).
- Xero and Intuit (QuickBooks) — only when you connect them, to create the invoices you push.
Retention
App data is kept while Reeve is installed and is removed when you uninstall it from your Atlassian site.
